Sahoo Neuro Trust was started on the 13th of January 2020. The trust is a non-profit organisation, which primarily focuses on spreading awareness and reducing the treatment gap of neurological disorders particularly Parkinson’s Disease and other movement disorders, headache, stroke and epilepsy.

Dr. Lulup Kumar Sahoo
Dr Lulup Kumar Sahoo is currently working as Associate Professor of Neurology at IMS and SUM Hospital, Bhubaneswar. He joined IMS and SUM Hospital in August 2020.Prior to this, he was working as Assistant Professor of Neurology at NIMHANS, Bangalore for a brief period.
Dr Lulup Kumar Sahoo completed his MBBS and MD in General Medicine from V.S.S. Medical College, Burla. In the year 2014, he joined S.C.B. Medical College, Cuttack as DM Neurology resident. Following completion of Neurology residency, he joined IMS and SUM Hospital as a consultant neurologist for brief period before moving to NIMHANS , Bangalore. He joined post doctoral fellowship course in Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders in 2018 at NIMHANS under Prof Pramod Kumar Pal. His topics of interest include Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders, headache and stroke.
